AYSO Region 18 Proudly Presents MLS Camps Fall
Training Program
About MLS Camps
MLS Camps coaches have a sterling reputation for being
the most qualified and the best in the business. Each
much hold the NSCAA National, Advanced National or Premier
Diploma or their international equivalent. All MLS Camps
coaches are trained with decades of child centered research
and the revolutionary practices of Strengths-Based Coaching.
As part of our Strengths-Based Coaching philosophy,
MLS Camps Coaches are equipped with Green Cards we created
that help build players’ confidence and encourage
them to repeat positive behaviors.
How the program works
This season region 18 has hired 6 full time MLS Camps
trainers to work exclusively within the local program.
The trainers have been assigned to work within the respective
age groups U7 – U19.
The training sessions are available to all region 18
coaches and sessions can be booked by directly emailing
the age specific trainer for each division:
Friday Night Clinics
Each Friday Region 18 offers the exclusive STEP program
open to players of all divisions. The Success Through
Extra Practice program allows players the opportunity
to attend open participation clinics with a skills based
theme such as Dribbling, Shooting and Defending. Clinics
will be grouped in ages U7- U8, U10 – U12 and
14 and older. There will also be a weekly Goalkeeper
Clinic for Players of all age groups.
U5 and U6
In an effort to accommodate each age division we will
also be looking to host a number of U5 and U6 clinics
to assist the development of players and coaches in
these divisions.

Family Housing
